The midweek shuffle
What? Nick ‘the fish’ Butler and Carl ‘Malt Loaf’ Lewis run a session every Wednesday 6.30-7.30pm.
A variety of sessions to keep your body guessing – all lead by our Welsh Athletic Run leaders and British Tri Activators. The midweek shuffle as described by Nick:
– due to the dark winter months our run leaders are constantly out looking for new routes to build on threshold training, hill reps etc.
– Once the night lights are upon us we explore the natural trail routes around the mountains that surround the Caerphilly area.
– all abilities are catered for and no one is left behind.
– great training benefits but also a fantastic social opportunity to meet and train with fellow members
Other weekly runs are posted on Facebook by our members inviting others to join them although these aren’t lead by our trained leaders and activators.
